We love shooting weddings. I think that's probably obvious! And we especially love it when a wedding is at a location as beautiful and serene as Eshott Hall in Northumberland. Eshott is in our top 5 venues that we like to shoot at (we will be blogging about the other venues in the next few weeks!) and the weather for Lou and Rich's wedding was so atmospheric!
As photographers, we don't really like clear blue skies. There, I said it! I know that all couples dream of a beautiful summers day wedding (even in February!) but Valentine's Day this year brought us a little bit of mist, and overcast skies giving us, as photographers, the equivalent of a huge photographic softbox to use to our advantage.
Lou and Rich wanted a relaxed, informal style to their photographs, and for us to record as many of the little details of their special day as possible, from the specially made signs to the Groomsmen's cufflinks. It's the perfect example of what we call 'photographing the edges'.
Congratulations Louisa & Richard...
